Loud and proud as Broderick Roadhouse and Chris Jarosz arrive in Midtown Sacramento at 1820 L Street! Not new to the Midtown neighborhood but bringing their own brand of pub grub, two-fisted eating and finger-licking love. The decor is shabby chic meets ranch rugged. Full bar and plenty of big screens! The menu is the same deliciousness we've come to know and love at Broderick West across the river in Yolo County. Embrace your cholesterol and plates loaded with joy. We opted for Hillbilly Chomp -- pulled pork with fried onion crisps. side of house fries with house Buffalo sauce, Bacon Mac n Cheese (OMG!) and a healthy small green salad just for yucks. A full bar and plenty of good brews. Opting for a slightly dirty Martini and Rusty Nail, yes we were good to roll when we
waddled out.
The place was jumping and everyone was having a good time. Thanks Chris and staff! You're just getting your feet under you and I know you'll have plenty of 5-star reviews coming. Day one and there's always more to reach for on the ladder to stardom.
It doesn't seem so long ago we met at the corner of 21st & K streets at the Wicked Wich food truck window. A lucky day for me to find a friend who fully understands the concept of chow down!
