Walk on the Wildside at Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge is just that, WOW! This annual family-oriented festival is celebrates Central Valley wildlife habitats and nature. This event also celebrates children with many hands-on and creative activities which are all FREE!
Vendors and public land agencies provide information about natural resources throughout the region and state. Live entertainment including music, farm animals, puppet shows, and wild animal presentations are fun for all. Docent-led tours at Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge are fantastic. Food and drinks available at the festival but bring some extra water. Sunscreen and hats are always a good idea.
